Pafos Aphrodite Festival Cyprus (P.A.F.C) was founded in 1998 by the Municipality of Pafos, the Municipality of Geroskipou, the Municipality of Pegeia, the Pafos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Cyprus Hoteliers Association – Pafos Regional Committee. These five Pafian organisations joined their forces towards the establishment of the District of Pafos as an international centre of high - profile cultural events, thus contributing to the international promotion and elevation of the Island of Cyprus in a cultural and touristic aspect.

The Company “Pafos Aphrodite Festival Cyprus” is a non-profit organisation that mainly organises and manages one large internationally acclaimed annual cultural event as well as other cultural events in the District of Pafos.

Dynamic Works team worked closely together with P.A.F.C. towards the creation of an outstanding web presence enforced by the promotion of the events as well as the promotion and online sales of event tickets on a direct and in-direct basis. This required special care in order to ensure that the website infrastructure was of a high level of usability and data security.

Being based on EasyConsole Web Content Management System, The P.A.F.C. website is seamlessly integrated with Dynamic Works’ EasyConsole Ticketing System allowing the opera lovers to purchase and print their tickets for the Cyprus biggest opera event, at the convenience of their own home. EasyConsole Ticketing system is a powerful yet flexible and expandable ticketing system that offers all the tools necessary for effectively promote, sell and manage event tickets sales.

The Ticketing System customised for P.A.F.C. allows visitors select their tickets from a graphical representation of the Theater Plan. Once logging in or registering, the theater plan is displayed with each one of the sections appearing in a different colour. Visitors, can click and zoom in to the desired theatre section, clearly see all available seats, select and proceed to the shopping cart within seconds. The shopping cart facility allows them to edit and manage the tickets pre-selected. As soon as an order is complete and paid online, customers can print their tickets with a click of a button. In addition, an email confirmation arrives at their inbox containing a link to their tickets, just in case they need to reprint or print them later. It is important to note that all tickets are barcoded, thus virtually eliminating ticket fraud.

Checkout functionality is being powered by JCC payment gateway (PCI – compliant redirect method) and all online credit card payments take place through JCC gateway.

With EasyConsole Ticketing System, customers have their own login and password.  Therefore, they are able log on and view their ticket Reservation and Purchasing History at any time.

On the day of the event, tickets are being scanned and redeemed at the point of entry with barcode scanners. Scanners communicate with the servers in real time and confirm the single entry and validity of the ticket with the Ticketing System on the spot.
